The Pied Piper Of Hamelin

Adapted from Robert Browning's tale, this musical is written for children to enjoy the fun of singing and also for their audience to enjoy many magic moments during its 40 minute duration. Written for junior choirs, it is easy learn, easy play. It can be a straight concert performance or if facilities exist, can include non singing children dressing up as Rats or Children and running round the auditorium at appropriate times. There is some 2 part writing and solo possibilities. If you have a Dad who could sing the Mayor's part, that would be just great. The ending deviates from the traditional as all the children return to Hamelin.

The Garden

The Garden is a children's mini musical adapted from the story - 'The Selfish Giant' by Oscar Wilde. The Garden is written for Primary school children or junior school choirs. It is easy to learn and easy to play. The musical can be a stage or concert presentation with an approximate duration of 40 minutes. Cast with Pianist includes Children's Choir, Story Teller (sung and spoken), Giant (A strong deep voiced teacher or parent would make a natural giant) and Child Soloist. If a stage production, non-singers could be children dressed up as village folk - Children playing games, Mayor and council members, and ladies coming for a chat. Let your imagination run riot! -
